Saturday, June 14th - parade starts at 12:00pm sharp, all participants must be ready no later than 11:30.
Location:
SaskEnergy’s float staging area on 12th Avenue is TBD.
General Information:
All participants will either receive a shirt or can wear the shirt they were provided last year or can wear their Champion of Volunteers shirt. We will reach out to you to confirm how to receive your order shirt(s) once they arrive.
Attached is a map of the route, it is approximately 5km long. Once the parade is over you will be responsible for getting yourself home or back to your vehicle.
Out in the Park will be taking place at Wascana Park at the end of the parade. All parade participants are welcome to stay and attend the festivities – there will be performances, vendors, food and more!
We will have stickers, buttons, and other freebies to hand out during the parade. Do not throw anything toward spectators during the parade. All giveaways and candy must be placed directly in the hands of spectators (otherwise it’s considered littering).
Water bottles will be provided. Wear good walking shoes. There will be some room for those who want to ride in the trailer bed – a waiver form will be required to complete.
