About the event
Join us in person in June to engage in the community. This year’s conference is themed “Radical self-care, Is an Act of Activism.” There will be panel discussions and the unveiling of Unifor’s racial justice work being presented at the Constitutional Convention. This year, the conference will occur after our first Racial Justice advocate training, many of which will stay for the conference and discuss our next steps one workplace at a time. Also, at this conference, we will celebrate Ruth Pryce, our long-standing National Executive Board member and Unifor local 1106 President is retiring. We will be hosting an election for the National Executive Board member. Anyone can run at the conference with support from their local. I ask any interested candidates to send a letter to the Human Rights Department expressing their interest in the position.
